CA LABS has been providing microbiological testing services for mold and other indoor air quality (IAQ) parameters since 2003. Our Microbiology division in Texas is accredited under the AIHA-EMLAP (Lab ID 102929) program for the analysis of indoor air quality samples.
MOLD ANALYSIS
Non-Viable Mold
Non-viable analysis by direct microscopy is the most widely used method to identify mold spores.
- Surface
- Airborne
- Tape Lift, Bulk, Swab
- Sporetrap, Air O Cell/Micro S
Viable Mold
Viable analysis using standard mycology practices provides a more accurate identification of mold spores. Viable samples require time (5-10 days) for cultures to mature enough to be accurately identified.
- Bulk
- Airborne
- Surface
- Bulk, Dust
- Andersen Sampler
- Swab/RODAC contact plate
Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)
IAQ analysis can be performed for dust characterization, allergens, and a number of other IAQ contaminants.
- Dust
- Allergens
- Bacteria
- Characterization
- Mite and Animal
- Gram stain/Coliform/Speciation
